Islamic Stars

Salam aleikom,

It has been some time since I posted new patterns, so I thought I should
post something new. Then going through the designs that I had but did
not publish yet, I found these Islamic stars. I still have other
patterns but I am still working on them. Insha'Allah they will be ready soon. As
I finish them I will publish them here first so that I could get to know
what you think before I publish them to Islamic and Arabic
Cross-stitch
.

Charafa's Page

Salam aleikom,

One of the things that really please me is to find that my designs for cross-stitch are being actually used and people are stitching them. So, when one of my visitors, sister Charafa, contacted me for the first time telling me that she liked my Islamic cross-stitch website, I was touched. However, in her emails that followed she sent me a number of her stitched projects that she stitched using patterns from Islamic and Arabic Cross-stitch. I couldn't express how happy I was then. They came as a very pleasant surprise. She is quite talented, masha'Allah. Sister Charafa is from Morocco and her webpage is www.charafa.multiply.com Here are the photos she sent me:

Stitching Your Name in Arabic Calligraphy

Salam aleikom,

Stitching your name in Arabic calligrpahy is a new idea. I have thought about it long ago, but did not try it out except now. I just made one design that could be customised as a start. Later insha'Allah I could add new ideas and designs. I would love to hear what you think about it. Insha'Allah I am always there if you have any questions or comments. Ammena's Xstitch - Stitch by Order

Salam aleikom,

My friend Ammena decided to start a new website. Her website is called Ammena's Xstitch http://www.ammenasxstitch.bravehost.com . She decided to stitch free patterns from my website Islamic and Arabic Cross-stitch and other websites and sell what she has stitched. I like her idea, it is simple and insha'Allah she has a chance to do something she enjoys and at the same time she might be able to benefit financially.

Here is a photo of the latest project she has stitched.

February Free Patterns

Salam aleikom,

Today I have published the 5 new patterns Arabesque Star, In the Name of Allah (Bookmark), The Mosque, Masha'Allah and Allah SWT (small pattern).

Each one of these patterns had several versions. I usually decide on my own on the version I am going to publish on Islamic and Arabic Cross-stitch. I have still got one pattern that I have not published yet. It is called Mohammad the Prophet of Allah. I have more than one version of the pattern, so I thought I would put the three of them here, so that you could email me with your choice through my contact page. Just type "Number 1" or "Number 2" or "Number 3" in the message.

Stitching Our Patterns

I have started to stitch the patterns on Islamic and Arabic Cross-stitch so that I have stitched examples of the patterns. I started with the Shahada pattern which is very small, it did not take a long time to finish, although I have so many things to do that I do not have time to sit down and stitch for more than 20 minuits at a time.
